Revotree

2016-2020

Together with my friends Cosimo Calciano, Davide Coriele, Giorgio Crisafulli, Marco Cattaneo and Giovanni Marino, we founded Revotree, an innovative startup, to propose a hardware and software platform for precision agriculture. With Revotree, the farmer could:

• monitor the condition of the land

• manage agronomic operations and farming activities

• automate the irrigation system, optimizing his processes.

Revotree integrated easy-to-install soil probes, weather stations, and valves through a device management and control platform. My role was exactly developing these systems, both for the MVP product and for the industrialized future release.

The platform enabled real-time data analysis, sharing of best practices, and irrigation system operation to achieve savings of natural and economic resources important to farms of all sizes.

Our project has been embraced by various entities in the digital world such as:

• Google: we were selected for the Android Factory 4.0 enterprise project

• LVenture Group: we participated in the LUISS ENLABS acceleration program

• Gaetano Marzotto Prize: finalists of the Gaetano Marzotto Prize selected by Social Faire accelerator
